DeYeya E. Jones, MBA

DeYeya is a graduate of Northwood University, completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2001 with a focus in banking and finance. He obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from DeVos Graduate School of Management, Northwood University in 2010.

DeYeya knows that living a healthy lifestyle is important. In seeking to promote physical fitness and wellness, DeYeya embodies the Sutton Advisors’ core value of health. He encourages others to be health conscious by setting a good example.

DeYeya joined Sutton Advisors in January of 2013 and holds a license in Life, Accident and Health Insurance. DeYeya assists clients in protecting families from loss due to risks of disability, long term care or death. Prior to joining Sutton Advisors, DeYeya worked as an Area Manager for 7-Eleven, Inc. advising and counseling franchisees in the profitable operation of their business, and ensuring the implementation and supervision of corporate store operating conditions.

DeYeya is passionate about giving back to the community. He is the Lansing City Appointee to the Capital Area District Libraries Board of Trustees, a Commissioner for USA Football Heads Up Blocking and Tackling and serves on the Executive Board of the Lansing Football League as Treasurer. As a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., DeYeya is an Executive Board Member of the Lansing Alumni Chapter and has been coaching Kappa Express Football (ages 12-14) since early 2000. He also serves as Vice- Chair of the Lansing Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation and Chair of the Lansing Kappa League Youth Leadership and Development Program.
